Twins Reach DL Limit, Forced To Change Logo

TARGET FIELD — It has been a frustrating first couple months for the Minnesota Twins and more bad news is on the way.  With the addition of Thome and Kubel to the disabled list, the Twins now have 45 players on the DL.  MLB rule #4.4223.1 states:

“Any team that has more than 44 players on the disabled list must change their team logo.  In doing so, we hope this will serve as a ‘Scarlet Letter’ that encourages other players not to get injured and head down to Florida.”

Tough rules for a tough season I guess.  Here is an exclusive leaked image of the new Twins logo……

It means disabled list, not "on the downlow".
