Another Twins player has joined the Twitterverse and his name is Trevor Plouffe @TPlouffe24. While we all know that he’s a baseball player, and most of us know the ladies love him, one of his first tweets revealed something else…..he’s a nerd. It turns out, Trevor Plouffe likes the Lord of the Rings (LOTR) trilogy. This development earned him the TTBB Nerd Cred Seal of Approval as the author, and many of it’s readers are big LOTR fans as well. Check out the two tweets from last night…..

Well it’s good to know that some athletes share the same geeky traits as some of their fans. I hope this offseason shows us the meaning of haste.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go play Dungeons and Dragons and see if I can find Lew Ford online somewhere.
