Tonight Ben Revere made one of the best catches you will ever see. Playing center field, Vlad Guerrero hit a shot 408 feet to center and Revere made an unbelievable over the shoulder, jumping into the wall, catch.
Earlier in the game, he took a poor angle on a line drive hit in the left-center gap but then he goes and totally redeems himself. I’d say it’s 90% athleticism and 10% luck and I may be a little low on the luck. If he jumps up just a split second later, he probably runs into the wall and his glove isn’t there to make the catch.
